Sauganash Brewing Co.

Sauganash Brewing Co. is a quaint beer-making operation in Chicago named after the first tavern established in that fine city, in 1831. The name came from from Billy 'Sauganash' Caldwell – a descendent of an Irish father, Mohawk mother who'd lived in Detroit and ended up in the Windy City where he made his money as one of the top fur traders in the land.

SBCo crafts small-batch brews inspired by the city's historic past and to celebrate the great beer tradition Chicago has come to exemplify.
